March: Jazz & Creative Spark
The Kate Wadey Quartet | Saturday 21 March World-class jazz at the KV Hall. Grab a ticket and enjoy an upbeat afternoon of classic and contemporary standards.
Leadlight Workshops | 21–22 March There is only one spot left for this hands-on workshop where you can and learn a traditional craft with local expert Lance Brown. Small groups, very social. Mid week special request classes are available for groups of 3-4 people. There are spaces available for the July workshop so be sure to pre book in advance.
April: Easter & Family Fun
Pig Day Out at The Friendly Inn | Saturday 4 April The ultimate Easter Saturday. Racing piglets, live music, and a massive community vibe. It’s free entry for kids under 12 and supporting local groups.
Easter Farm Tours | Wednesday 15 April Take the kids to Winderong Farm to meet the animals and see how a working regenerative farm operates.
Farmer’s Markets | Sunday 12 April Grab your Easter supplies—local honey, sourdough, and fresh produce—direct from the growers.
May: Reggae & River Rhythms
KV Reggae Fest | Saturday 16 May The “little festival in the back paddock” is back at the Friendly Inn. Big bass, international acts, and the best atmosphere in the Shoalhaven.
Farmer’s Markets | Sunday 10 May The perfect Mother’s Day morning. Browse the stalls with a coffee in hand and listen to live local music.
