Creative Play invites you to roll up your sleeves and build something extraordinary with internationally renowned artists Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan. This hands-on, all-ages experience invites everyone—young, old, artists and explorers alike—to contribute to a growing collaborative sculpture as part of the exhibition Thinking Together: Exchanges with the Natural World.

Whether you’re a curious kid, a crafty parent, or just love to create, this is your chance to be part of something bigger. Your contribution will become part of a living artwork that evolves over time—a powerful symbol of community and collaboration.

• Thinking together: Exchanges with the natural worldThinking together: Exchanges with the natural world presents major new commissions by contemporary artists Robert Andrew, Isabel and Alfredo Aquilizan and Keg de Souza, alongside paintings by the Martu communities of central Western Australia, and video works by Sorawit Sangsataya and Tina Stefanou.

  The exhibition explores themes of reciprocity and collaboration between the human and non-human. Each work responds to notions of community and considers the possibility that new knowledge might only be created through a process of thinking together, via communal making, cooperation between the species and embodying First Nations practices of knowledge sharing.
