Experience connection to Country in Kangaroo Valley with Gadhungal Marring at the Gangagruwan Corroboree.
Taking place at
Winderong Farm on Sunday, 2nd July from 5pm. This will be an incredible night of learning and community building.
Gadhungal Marring is a local indigenous-owned business. They see this corroboree as a space to come together and build a connection.
A corroboree is a way we give back to mother earth. It’s an ancient cultural practice that has been passed down through generations and continues to be passed down to this very day.
Gadhungal Marring will share their stories through dance, they share ancient stories of the creation of our native animals and pay our respects to the lessons they hold.
Gangagruwan is a beautiful place that holds a powerful story.
(Gangagruwan is the original name for Kangaroo Valley) Storytelling is a traditional practice in their culture. Their old people have been sharing stories since the beginning of time. They honour their history and their ancestors by passing on their stories, making sure they live on forever in everything they do.
Gadhungal Marring asks you to join them on their journey and walk beside them as we all learn and care for Country together.
