Milking & Cheese Making Demonstration

Dive into the world of regenerative dairy farming at Winderong Farm.

We will explain our calf-at-foot practices and show you the processes we use to milk our Jersey cows, followed by a demonstration of creating dairy products. Dispel the smoke and mirrors of cheese making and learn how to make paneer and ricotta using simple ingredients and household equipment.

After you’ve satisfied your artisanal curiosity, enjoy a light lunch of food produced both on the farm and locally in Kangaroo Valley.

When: Saturday 12th July at 9am

Location: Winderong Farm, Upper Kangaroo River

Cost: $80 adults, $40 children (children must be accompanied by an adult)

Tickets are limited.

About Us:

Winderong Farm is an experimental project encompassing
permaculture, regenerative agriculture, bush regeneration, sustainability and communal living. Our farm is set on 810 acres of stunning wilderness and farmland in beautiful Dharawal country, Kangaroo Valley. Our growing community consists of around 12-15 full-time residents, as well as local employees and a host of beautiful and much-loved farm animals and wildlife. We aim to embody the permaculture principle of “we are nature working” and develop a deep understanding and respect for the land we steward, all the while aiming to regenerate the earth and learn from her and each other.
