Lisa Stewart was performing internationally by the age of 11 and continued her career in Europe and Australia at the ACO, SSO and has been a member of the Acacia Quartet since its formation.

​

Roland Peelman is artistic director of the Canberra International Music Festival but may be as well known in Kangaroo Valley as the director of The Song Company vocal group, a position he held from 1990 to 2015. He is also an accomplished pianist.

The program is based around the Debussy sonata for violin and piano with the addition of various pieces by other twentieth century composers including Elena Kats-Chernin and Vaughan-Williams (The Lark Ascending).
