Enjoy some of our home made refreshing soda and a taste of our seasonal produce. \nThis is a great tour for families and animal lovers. \nFeel free to stay after the tour to explore and enjoy the farm – even have a swim in the creek or bring a picnic to enjoy. \n\nWhen: Wednesday 15th April – 9:00 -11:00\nLocation: Winderong Farm\, Upper Kangaroo River\nCost: $20 per person – or a Family ticket for $50. Tickets include a taste of our homemade soda and some farm-grown goodies.\nTickets are limited. A minimum number of participants will be required to go ahead.Winderong is a working farm with uneven ground and various hazards. Please wear appropriate footwear. All children MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.About Us:\n\nWinderong Farm is an experimental project encompassing permaculture\, regenerative agriculture\, bush regeneration\, sustainability and communal living. Our farm is set on 810 acres of stunning wilderness and farmland in beautiful Dharawal country\, Kangaroo Valley. Moving at the gentle pace of the river\, participants are welcomed into a shared journey that honours place\, story\, and connection. \nLed collaboratively by experienced Valley Outdoors guides and Gadhungal Marring\, the tour weaves together flatwater paddling\, cultural knowledge\, and time on Country. The use of BIG canoes creates a collective experience\, making the tour accessible\, inclusive\, and suitable for beginners\, families\, and those new to paddling. \nThroughout the experience\, guests are invited to listen\, learn\, and reflect. DESCRIPTION:Presented in association with Musica Viva Australia Women of Song is an authentic show of conversations and songs\, articulating First Nations cultural practice in the here and now\, live on stage.  \nWomen of Song is an innovative new show\, developed by the acclaimed Jessie Lloyd (of Mission Songs Project) including themes of intergenerational practices\, singing on and from country\, commitment to community\, and preserving knowledge in song. It’s an intimate celebration of the ‘here and now’ of Indigenous culture\, a rare mix of spontaneous conversation and songs\, exploring the modern-day practice and living heart of the ‘world’s oldest living culture’.  \nThe audience listens in as three First Nations singers have a conversation. Someone’s story may remind someone else of a song\, or a favourite popular song might start a discussion among them all. Each conversation and each performance will be unique\, as the women explore live on stage how their songs preserve the social\, cultural\, or environmental shifts of a community\, and deepen connections to country\, genealogy\, and custom.
