If you are keen to stand for a position on the Committee please complete the attached nomination form and return to [email protected]. Having a role on the Committee is not arduous – we are a cohesive and friendly bunch who work well together. All are welcome.
The General Meeting will follow at 7pm. All Ward1 Councillors and the Mayor will be invited to attend.
SCC is currently seeking input on a potential rate rise (8% per cent including Rate Peg or 12% including Rate Peg) above the 3.8 per cent Rate Peg. People can lodge submissions and provide feedback in the survey about the proposed Special Rate Variation options until 5pm Thursday 5 December 2024. The General Meeting will provide an opportunity to hear from and ask questions of our Ward 1 Councillors in relation to their views on this.
