Maintenance work on Moss Vale Road at Kangaroo Valley

Routine maintenance work

We’ll be carrying out maintenance work on Moss Vale Road between Cavan Road and the Kangaroo Valley pump track, just north of Hampden Bridge. 

What work are we doing?

Work will include resealing and applying line marking to a one-kilometre length of Moss Vale Road, which will improve the longevity of the road and improve safety for motorists.

When and where are we working?

We will be working on Moss Vale Road between Cavan Road and the Kangaroo Valley pump track from 7am to 5pm, Monday 11 to Friday 29 November 2024, weather permitting.

What will this mean for you?

There will be temporary impacts to residents and motorists while we carry out this work. 

You may notice:

·         workers and vehicles

·         traffic controllers and signage

·         noise and light from machinery and equipment. 

We will make every effort to minimise our impacts and complete this work as quickly as possible.

Traffic impacts

During work, single lane closures, a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h and stop/slow traffic control will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, allow an extra five minutes’ travel time and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
