Built in 1880, Hampden Cottage is a charming luxury two bedroom cottage on two acres close to the village.

Hampden Cottage is beautifully-restored, keeping a lot of its original country feel with all the luxury of modern conveniences. No comfort has been overlooked!

Enjoy a private relaxing stay for two to four guests; two large queen-size bedrooms have beautifully handcrafted Australian furniture, comfortable mattresses and quality bed linen. An additional single day bed is available if needed for a child. Leave your car and enjoy an easy walk or bike ride into the village – complimentary quality bikes are available when booked prior to your stay.

Let nature greet you in many ways at the cottage and adjoining nature reserve. We have wildlife visitors in the garden and a wonderful array of birds in the surrounds. As evening sets in, indulge yourself in the large two-person spa bath, then cosy up in front of the wood fire. The cottage has a good range of books and DVDs, a flat screen TV and games to entertain. The cottage is fully self-contained with all the modern facilities (including air-conditioning to keep cool on hot summer days) to make your escape a memorable one.
