From the old farm shed, to our private hanging rock - Wildwood Long Table Lunches are a feast for the senses. Our secret locations are uniquely matched to the cuisine, with all menus designed during the week leading up to the event, according to seasonality, local inspiration, and our Chef’s whim.

There are some places in the wilderness where nature over delivers and gliding downstream on the Kangaroo River from Beehive Point to the mouth of Yarrunga Creek with the backdrop of the Morton National Park in Kangaroo Valley, is one such place. Arts in the Valley holds a biennial arts festival in Kangaroo Valley. The next festival is in May 2021. In addition Arts in the Valley presents music concerts and visual arts events throughout the year.
Since 2007, Arts in the Valley has brought some of the finest musicians, artists and writers in Australia to Kangaroo Valley for our concerts, exhibitions and festivals.

About 1 hectare is dedicated to the Pioneer Settlement Museum, barbeque, parking and toilet facilities. The buildings are built to the standards of the late 19th and early 20th centuries and stocked with artefacts from that era.
The museum has talking history and visual displays. Visit the dairy, forge, school house, settler’s cottage, Archie Chittick Museum, war remembrance room and much more.
Another 7 hectares of natural bushland is available for bushwalking along designated tracks.
Held in the grounds of the region’s leading hotel The Friendly Inn, the KVBBQ Festival 2021 features dozens of craft beer breweries, top of the line barbecue caterers, live music, and a host of all-ages activities from piglet racing to helicopter rides.
The ever-popular piglet races take place on both days allowing all festival goers to place their bets on the cute little critters which will be wearing their different coloured vests in any of the seven heats per day.
After a sold out event in 2020, the Highland Valley Forage in Kangaroo Valley is back in 2021. This foodie trail tells the story of how the Southern Highlands, Shoalhaven and Coast, South of Sydney are connected, through food and wine.
Be sustained by our 10-course degustation menu, meet the locals, taste cool climate wines, smell the wild flowers blooming in the warm spring air and take in some of the most breathtaking scenery of the region as you experience the Highland Valley Forage. Enjoy our 4km experience or take in the entire 9.5km walk.
As Valley Cheesemakers we’re passionate about cheese and its creation. We’re inspired to share our knowledge with others who’re keen to learn about cheese making too. Maybe your interest comes from wanting to know what goes into your food, entering a Show or developing a new hobby.
Whatever your reason for exploring the world of cheese making, we’re here to support you. We host many workshops throughout the year and are open to adding more to the calendar if our published dates aren’t convenient for you.
