This 25m outdoor pool boasts stunning views of Kangaroo Valley. The green, rolling hills and chilled country vibes make Kangaroo Valley Pool a great place to cool off during the summer months. Open from November to March, the pool is set inside the showground near the centre of town and just a stone’s throw from excellent cafes.
Yarrawa Estate was established in 1998 by Mark and Sue Foster. Over the next two years a diverse range of crops was planted including wine and table grapes,walnuts,pecans, macadamias,citrus,Chinese raisin trees,avocado and kiwi fruit. The first wine vintage was released in 2002 and the Cellar Door opened for business.

Our amazing 100 acre property is a haven of hidden treasures, where eating is not just about the food. Wildwood secret dining experiences will indulge you in a creative, chef-driven menu in the most unexpected locations. From the old farm shed, to our private hanging rock - Wildwood Long Table Lunches are a feast for the senses. Our secret locations are uniquely matched to the cuisine, with all menus designed during the week leading up to the event, according to seasonality, local inspiration, and our Chef’s whim.
The Kangaroo Valley show includes traditional competitions such as the Dairy and Beef judging; Show Jumping, the Horse Class Judging , the Poultry Pavilion, the Wood Chopping, the Champion Dog Show and of course The Grand Parade. There are the favourites such as the Children’s Bicycle races, Pet show, Dog Races, Tug o’ War, Talent Quest and for the willing, the Iron Person event. For the young at heart we again have rides, carnival games, showbags, a variety of cuisine and other stalls to choose from.
About 1 hectare is dedicated to the Pioneer Settlement Museum, barbeque, parking and toilet facilities. The buildings are built to the standards of the late 19th and early 20th centuries and stocked with artefacts from that era.
The museum has talking history and visual displays. Visit the dairy, forge, school house, settler’s cottage, Archie Chittick Museum, war remembrance room and much more.
Another 7 hectares of natural bushland is available for bushwalking along designated tracks.
Arts in the Valley holds a biennial arts festival in Kangaroo Valley. The next festival is in May 2021. In addition Arts in the Valley presents music concerts and visual arts events throughout the year.
Since 2007, Arts in the Valley has brought some of the finest musicians, artists and writers in Australia to Kangaroo Valley for our concerts, exhibitions and festivals.
Held in the grounds of the region’s leading hotel The Friendly Inn, the KVBBQ Festival 2021 features dozens of craft beer breweries, top of the line barbecue caterers, live music, and a host of all-ages activities from piglet racing to helicopter rides.
The ever-popular piglet races take place on both days allowing all festival goers to place their bets on the cute little critters which will be wearing their different coloured vests in any of the seven heats per day.
